For this assignment I would like to create one typography artwork to express my view and try to
communicate to other peoples through this artwork.
I would like to speak out my voice about something common in this world esspecially in my beloved country, Malaysia but in my own way.
So, I have decided to choose current issues like ABORTION
and my artwork's title is BABY.

Artist Statement
From where I get inspire to do Baby ?
Nowdays, we are always heard about abortion either in cyber news or media.
Why this thing could be happen?
Teenagers todays always think about their enjoy life and happy life but
not their future.
Because of this minded they just do what their want without thinking the
long term effects.
Esspecially girls outside there. They never think wisely after fall in
love with guys.
At last after make a love or illegal sex then they want to regret. It
become worst when they get pregnant and until one time they just take an easy way
which is ABORTION!
We must stop this problem immediately to prevent more babies aborted.
These baby was not do anything wrong but their parents attitude have
deny thier rights to take a breath in this world.
How long this problem could be happen infront of us?
Hope one day people esspecially teenagers can think wisely before do
something.
Generally BABY bring a lot of
meaning but the main point is to prevent abortion.
Who know maybe one of the baby who had been aborted could be a great
leader in our country?
Artwork Treatment
In BABY I have choose 3 different main characters which is have their own meaning.
First it background, I have use fully red colour.As we know red means something dangerous or caution.
By this way I want to mention that my artwork is want to highlight something dangerous.
Then, I have use capital 'D'. This means that capital 'D' is major or 'mother'. As we know this problem is a major problem among our youth today. That why I choose capital 'D' to highlight this problems.
The black colour I use in capital 'D' to mention a darkside or something is bad.
Besides that, I also use a few letters with white colour but in opposite way. As we know white colour represent as a pure or innocent and I applied to a few letters in opposite way to represent a baby who is aborted.
Basically in this BABY I want to show that everything is related which is an innocent baby who is aborted because of their parent's sin in their darkside life.
In this typography I have choose an ARIAL as it typephase because as we know ARIAL is a common type of typography in our life which is relate to this problem because currently this problem also become a common problem.I also use a bold because want to highlight the meaning in this typography artwork.
From all this elements I have decided to combine it to create BABY which is carry a lot of meaning.

This shows that this problem had become a major issue in Malaysia and if we not take any action by now this problem will become worst among our youth today.
There are many ways to remember our youth about this problem. Some do in campaign or their ways but some of them who telented in music create a song about this problem.
