Assalamualaikum & hye everyone.

For 2nd semester in Beta year this will be my platform to show my artwork progress in Media Arts Design 2 (MMA 1123)

For my first assignment I required to create two conceptual screens based
artworks to provoke / stimulate their target audience’s emotions.

Both screen design should integrate the appropriate use of visual language and typographic meaning. And usually I need to think visually for this assignment.

I have decided to create 2 artwork which is Music & Fashion and #Lokalah Brand

MUSIC & FASHION

For this topic I would like to explain the purpose of this topic. As we know music and fashion are very related with each other because the music can give an impact and influence towards fashion even in past time. For this topic topic my target audience is Malaysian who love music & fashion ( average age around 18-25 years ).

Artist Statement

For this assignment , I have decided to choose Music & Fashion as my 1st artwork.
In Music & Fashion I want to highlight that music really can give an impact towards fashion.Blue color represent calm & relax. This will relate to my concept which is
eventhough you are listening at different types of genre music and you appreciate it then it will make you feel relax and enjoy. Spiral of lines represents the flow of music you will be heard in your ears. My background I use my own collection picture and it symbolize freedom to generate calmness and relaxing feeling.

Artwork Treatment

In this artwork I have used a Wacom bamboo pen to help me to draw the lines. Besides that , I ‘m using Adobe Photoshop CS6 to complete this artwork. In addition, some album cover and music video was used as it gave me an inspiration to do this artwork.

In the picture and videos above show that types of music will influence audience's attire.

#Lokalah Brand

I would like to explain about this topic and why I chose this topic.
The purpose of this topic is I want to persuade today’s youth generation in Malaysia ( generally age around 16-23 years ) to support our local brand printed T-shirt because to me our local brand printed T-shirt is on par as the branded T-shirt that is available in the market today.

Artist Statement

For 2nd artwork I have chosen Lokal Brand to be my title. Why I choose this topic? For me we as Malaysian should support our local product. Through this artwork, I’m trying to persuade
Malaysians especially youth to buy our local product without any hesitation. In this artwork I used “LOKAL” as my typography. Actually “LOKAL” comes from a German word which means local. The typography is in red color because I want to highlight that is important to use our local product.For the background I sketch through my imagination and it’s quite crazy. This is
because ,my target audience for this artwork would be youth and normally this generation like something that is different and unique stuff than the others .

Artwork Treatment

For this artwork I still use a Wacom bamboo pen to draw my artwork especially for my
background. I also use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to do this artwork.
